first found her love for live music aged 13 improvising with a Jazz band at a small jam in West London. Her seductive and somewhat surreal sounds are a combination of Jazz, soul and R&B grooves. She plays guitar, Jazz piano and is tactile in the studio, experimenting with layers of vocal harmonies to create ethereal and cinematic sonics.
acts as an all-encompassing sound exploration project for Croydon born, Mauritian heritage artist Sherwyn Appadu. Since his 2017 debut EP, “78,” Sherwyn has continued to develop a voice that muses day-to-day observations and reflects upon his past experiences. Sherwyn's sonic diary has amassed attention for being an unpredictable, varied catalogue of everything from heavy hitting club tracks to gentle lullaby, liminal space inspired compositions.
